“Loving Pablo”, one of the most anticipated film of the 74th Venice International Film Festival, chose Palazzina as the exclusive place for the after-screening party. After the official screening  showed at Sala Grande, a big boat cortège with the cast and the official delegation on board,  arrived at Palazzina to  attend the party organized in their honour by the production company and the staff of the exclusive Hotel designed by Philippe Starck. The beautiful Penelope Cruz with his husband Javier Bardem and the director and producer Fernando León de Aranoa were received by the magnificent hospitality of Palazzina. An exclusive area of the Hotel has been reserved for the cast and his entourage that, at his arrival, could enjoy some of the inventions of Palazzina’s chefs.  VIEW VIDEO

“Loving Pablo” tells how the Colombian drug dealer, Pablo Escobar, gained power. The film has been presented for the first time at the 74th Venice International Film Festival and it’s distributed by Notorious Pictures; directed by Fernando León de Aranoa who wrote and directed "Princesas" in 2005, nominated at nine Premi Goya. The actor, winner of the Academy Award, interprets the infamous criminal and the actress, winner of the Academy Award as well, performs Virginia Vallejo.

Palazzina, 5 stars boutique hotel designed by Philippe Starck, after being acquired from the Relegance holding last year, goes back to being the most exclusive location of Venice during the 74th International Film Festival. Wednesday September 6th the Venice Movie Stars Lounge hosted the national and international press activities of the actors Javier Bardem e Penelope Cruz, the only Spanish actors to win an Academy Award with both obtaining Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress respectively. They came to present the director's, Fernando León de Aranoa, new film, “Loving Pablo” that narrates about the relationship between the Colombian drug dealer, Pablo Escobar, and his lover, the TV journalist, Virginia Vallejo. The couple, not only in real life but even on set, after carrying out the TV interviews during the morning, had lunch inside the Villa, and then moved on more interviews answering the questions of the journalists.
